Public Meetings

The Department of State Health Services will hold public meetings on

May 2 and May 9, 2008 to solicit input into the development of the

agency's 2010-2011 Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR). A draft

LAR is expected later this summer.

The May 2 meeting will be held from 3-6 p.m. Central Daylight Time in

the DSHS boardroom located in the Moreton building at 1100 W. 49th

Street in Austin.

The public meeting on May 9 will be held via videoconference from 3-6

p.m. Central Daylight Time. The videoconference will be broadcast in

the following cities: Abilene, Amarillo, Arlington, Beaumont, Corpus

Christi, El Paso, Galveston, Harlingen, Houston, Laredo, Lubbock,

Odessa, San , Temple, Tyler, and Wichita Falls.
