Guest guest
I'll bet it felt fantastic to get out and be in charge of your "own self". Congrats!Edna needs one of those add-on phone bells. I think they can be purchased at Radio Shack still. She may just not be able to hear the particular sound of her phone ring. I'm assuming she has the volume on loud? When will her son be home?love and hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Gee, n, that sounds like fun. Tell me how itdoes on hills; that is one thing I think I'd be scaredof--falling out when going downhill. Are there seatbelts on those things? I hope you can connect soonwith Edna.love, KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Thu, November 18, 2010 2:20:42 PMSubject: Re: n has wheels!/ WHEE!/ reply to Sharon's post to group Yes. Guest guest
Thrilled to hear that you got to test out Jeff Gordon.. Sidewalks and such are nice... I did get to use mine out and about twice.. once bringing it home from the CAT center... and the other when loaded it up in the van when he was going to Lowe's to pick up the Lumber for the porch ramp.. Waiting to hear how your next excursion goes.. and hopefully Edna will hear the phone ring.. or decide she hasn't heard from you in awhile.. and calls you instead.. HUGS |)onna Yes. Guest guest
Mine has a seatbelt so I'd assume that's standard. And hills aren't all that bad, I get up and down my ramp ok and it is pretty steep compared to most streets. ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ http://www.affiliates-natural-salt-lamps.com/pages/156.php -- n has wheels! Guest guest
Wow...I was kinda only kidding about a seatbelt, but it does make sense to have one. Do you feel nervous on the hills, or did you in the beginning?Long may you each ride!love, KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Fri, November 19, 2010 1:48:02 PMSubject: Re: n has wheels!/ WHEE!/ reply to Sharon's post to group Mine has a seatbelt so I'd assume that's standard. Guest guest
Mine has a seatbelt too.. wouldn't hold my big butt in the chair though.. I think they are standard, but I think they are more for holding people who have an upper body control issue in place when moving around more so than actual safety... uh.. duh.. that was stupid.. guess they are for safety.. Just not mine.. cause we'd have to replace the original belts with something stronger to hold me in the chair.. like the 5 point selt belt setup in the race car!.. LOL HUGS |)onna Mine has a seatbelt so I'd assume that's standard.
