Guest guest
As a follow-up to those who were at last Friday's meeting, and as an FYI to those who were unable to attend...per GETAC Chair Ed Racht MD and Vice Chair Pete Wolf, here's the updated action plan regarding the proposed GETAC Committee re-structure: 1. The status quo continues for all existing committees through the August 13-14 meetings. 2. The Disaster/Emergency Preparedness Task Force remains a task force for its June meeting, and then moves to committee status and will be scheduled to meet along with the other GETAC committees in August. 3. At the August 15 GETAC Council meeting, the agenda will reflect the revised Committee structure (which includes a total of 10 committees) and GETAC procedural rules will be rolled out for final review and comment. 4. Changes will be given final approval at the GETAC Council meeting in November 2008. After that, new members for committees will be solicited and appointments will be announced at the February 2009 GETAC Council meeting.
