Unfortunately, I don't believe it will be that simple to just write a letter. In the letter they sent me they did get the message accross that

they mean business(its from the school nurse). So I think I will call that office to get that form and literature from Dr Winer.

New York is different. Religious exemption ….. Not So Easy. Could never move there because of that.

Vaccinations are not mandatory for school. West Virginia and Massachusetts I believe are the only 2 states that a letter is required by an MD that the child would be in jepordy if he/she received vaccines. Otherwise, there is an exemption form available. Even easier than that, all you have to do is write a letter stating that you do not want your child to be vaccinated. That's it........Anytime I get a letter from the school, I write down on a piece of paper that I know my rights and that I choose to not have my child vaccinated...........that's the end of it!!!!! They bully parents into believing that this is MANDATORY because they get funded for each child that is FULLY VACCINATED....Religion doesn't even have to be mentioned.

There is a doctor in my area that has an exemption form if you would like something that looks more official.....but like I said, a piece of paper and your statement is all you need. If you would like to obtain this form you could call his office and they will gladly send it to you and any other information they have about the vaccines for free.

I would never do it, I believe it is what triggered the autism in my little Kara......neither her or my 2 other children will EVER BE VACCINATED AGAIN.......................

Just an addition to my previous post. www.nourishinghope.com will help you, as well as another book called: Healing our autistic children by A. Buckley M.D. (we got at library) In the book she emphasises and explains the importance of GFCF. I want to add our children are worth the financial sacrifice. We are their main hope and lifeline to recovering. My husband and I dont have cable, we dont eat out much, our neighbor lets us use their internet, we drive one car. It isn't a huge deal because we enjoy seeing our son progress and also we deal with less melt down drama. Best of luck to you!!!!!
