The turkeys are Narragansets which are heritage turkeys. We bought them from the feed store and it's still two early to tell if they are male or female. We also have one little lonely chick. The chick was hatched by the mean chicken, Meany Butt, and we grabbed when she was pecking it. So we have it inside are it looks like it will survive. > > I'll try to get pics to send you all tomorrow. Guest guest
I miss them and love hearing about them. I have good news and bad news. The bad news is whatever $$ Rob set (if indeed he sent anything) is not here yet, and tomorrow if the Schwans delivery day. The good news is I just found out that they take EBT and I have JUST ENOUGH left on the card to get what I wanted to get! Rob's $ *might* get here tomorrow but I'd probably still use the EBT card... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- Re: turkeys and chickssharon, thanks for sharing this stuff. i miss farm/ranch life and get to kinda live it again, somehow, through you... thanks.diva>> We have 4 turkey babies in our living room and one little chicken chick.
