Guest guest
Sharon, Your day sounds lovely Call me stupid, but isn't it too early to cut the tree, or no?????? My hubby used to tell me when had to wait at LEAST until Dec to cut ours or else it wouldn't last. I take my tree down earlier than most people t hough, so I always liked it UP earlier too. Now we just use an artificial one since it is easier. I don't have it up yet though. I started going through my decorations and stuff like that on Friday. Hubby was supposed to get the outside decorations up yesterday, but we ran out of daylight. Here it was REALLY windy, but sunny. It would have been warm if it hadn't been for the wind. Today is overcast. Supposed to warm up here in Ontario at the beginning of the week. We haven't had any snow here where we are yet. I'm off work until Dec 13th, so I don't care LOL. I am debating running (not literally!) into town as one of the stores has these nice potted porch trees, lighted, on sale for $30, regular $80, this weekend only. And i was there yesterday darn it, but didn't know!!!!!!!! Oh and I am suffering from the worst toothache I have ever had. Involving 2 teeth, one on the bottom and 1 on the top. I am pretty sure the one on the top is infected AGAIN. I will call the dentist tomorrow morning, a new dentist, I have never been to and i am terrified of going, but I can't take the pain!!! the side of my face is swollen too! The temperature is supposed start a downward trend tonight. After a few weeks of quite chilly weather we have enjoyed (for several days) warmer temps, both daytime and overnight. Well that is changing says the weatherman. We have a 40% chance of snow tomorrow night and for the next few days. One nice thing about the wind is the POWER! Our wind generator loves the windy weather. My son, his wife and their 4 kids are off to the forest cutting their Christmas tree today. I'm here at home with the 6 dogs, 8 indoor cat, the tropical fish, the two water crabs.... and my thoughts. It's lovely and quiet. With 4 grandkids in the house I don't often experience quiet. lolI've been doing dishes, making jam, reading a book (Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey) and watching the bluejays and chickadees at the feeders. The bluejays are fussing at me and telling me they need more black oil sunflower seeds in their feeders:) What are you all doing on this fine day?love to each of you SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
some people put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving - Black Friday - the day of sales for businesses - I have it on good authority all of Wal Mart will be on duty for Black Friday considering Wal Mart's stock is down and sales - they are sponsoring Hallmark movies they have a class action suit against them around an elderly Black woman who was a door greeter it is a toxic workplace and I know many people - me included who will not shop there God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there.
