How long does a child typicaly take Diflucan?

Hello,

My nine year old son has been on a Valtrex/Diflucan combo. We have had great

results! (More receptive & conversational lanuguage, increase in imagination

and peer relationships) He has just started a new school, he has been

mainstreamed (still has a full time aide though). Our Dan! suggest going off of

Diflucan and begin an herbal antifungal. I am curious as to how long kids

typicaly take Diflucan, I know that it can be hard on the liver. Has anyone seen

continued developmental gains after completing diflucan/valtrex?

Any info is much appreciated!
