I am finally far enough in counseling and think I have the strength to have a

conversation with my dad about my nada. He doesn't understand why I can't handle

contact with her -- but there are many things that he does not know about how

she treated me when I was growing up. This is potentially my last contact with

my FOO because I will not subject my baby to nada's toxicity - just want my dad

to know why so that he can decide whether or not he and I will still have

contact.

Please send me prayers/energy for strength and to be able to do this with

kindness and an open heart.
