Help needed with some supplements

Hi everyone,

I am about to reorder supplements for my son. I am concerned about certain

ingredients in some of them. I got one recommendation for pure encapsulation

supps which contain plant fiber in the capsules. What does that mean? Could that

result in allergies? I have been using nordic naturals children's dha for last 2

years. I recently found out that there should be a specific epa/dha ratio in the

oil, any recommendations? Nordic naturals also contains soy oil and my son has

soy allergy. All these manufacturers state that soy protein has been removed.

Does that make it alright? Also has anyone used Brainchild nutritional

multivitamins and what was the experience like?

Some products contain leucine also. Can that be a problem for some kids?

Thanks

Ourkidsasd.com has a soy-free CLO.

Removing the soy protein is generally enough removal for those people in the general population of the world who have a IGE allergy to soy and who don't " track " behaviors in relation to IGG inflammatoy response.

Since " we " are always scrutinizing and trying to remove even small assaults on ourkids, it would make sense to use the products with zero soy at all.

That being said, I do not always do that. We have Carlson's CLO and we do not give it daily. I did buy some vitamin E made with absolutely zero soy (purely e drops) but never bothered to order the CLO from the ourkids site.

Thanks Toni!

I checked the ourkidsasd site and the only clo on the site which is soy free is

the one from kirkman labs. Is that the one you were referring to? If so then is

the epa and dha in kirkman clo enough? Also, my son's IGG came back positive for

coconut and I give him carlson vitamin D liquid with coconut oil. Vitamin D is

also a problem supplement with soy in almost all liquid ones. Do you have any

recs regarding vitamin d liquid and what is the name of the soy free vitamin e?

Thanks you so much for your help.

Yes it's kirkman and I didnt write it out because I sometimes type kirkLAND and I can't ever remember the MAN or the LAND lolWe use vit d liquid drops from vitamin shoppe - i guess i didnt know abt the soy issue with them. the vit e brand is " Purely E " in the drop form, it says mixed tocopherols as well but its sources are red palm and sunflower I believe. They swear when you call them that there is no soy protein OR OIL in it. Nothing derived from soy. I have called and emailed them.

Thanks Toni!
