Guest guest
I went out to feed and water the poultry by myself this evening. By myself! My grandkids were watching the new Alice in Wonderland movie and I didn't want to bother them so I did it all by my lonesome. I did good but I was exhausted when I came back inside. I want to get better, get over the fear of doing things and get my stamina back. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
You are inspiring me, Reb. My house seriously needs to be decluttered, and when you said rule of 3, I thought you meant something I try todo--when I come upon clutter, I either, throw out, give away or put away. It's been a long time since I did any of that however, and my houseshows it!Glad you stopped smoking!love to you and ,KateTo: MSersLife <MSersLife >Sent: Tue, June 29, 2010 11:11:16 AMSubject: update/ housekeeping/ rule of three I forgot to mention in my update that I am, with success, applying the "rule of three" I invented back when I was living in a dorm room, on the growing mountain of clutter etc around here (it seems warm weather/heat makes that grow too...). Or, rather, it's a slightly adjusted* version of the rule of three, since I now live in more than one room. Here goes:Every time I enter a room I do three things to de-clutter it. It needn't be big things, tiny things like "putting a read/old news paper in the paper bin" counts. Because what's a cluttered room really, but a mountain of tiny little things... I find that three is a quite ideal number: More than three and it gets too tiresome and time consuming to keep up with (you should be able to do the required things on your way through a room on your way out, if not you'll skip it when you are pressed for time, and it will be downhill from there...). And with less that three you won't stay ahead of the rate of re-cluttering (depressing as that thought is...). After a couple of days of that, this place starts to shape up again.... love/Reb* Back in my college years, I could not do a "every time you enter a room"-scheme, as I was living in just one room (well, of course there was a few shared rooms, like the kitchen, laundry, etc. but I didn't want to spend my time and energy picking up after other sloppy students, I had enough to do cleaning up after myself...). Instead I did a "every time I want to go out to the balcony for a cigarette" (I smoked back then).

Guest guest
What you really should do is get your hubby and/or kids to do the rule of three (or at least rule of one or two...)...love/Reb---original message--- You are inspiring me, Reb.
