Guest guest
I have a friend here (I'm in Canada) with a law suit against the government. She was on Tysabri (another MS drug), but they cut her off of it after being on it for a year since they changed their criteria. It was working, and they stopped her because she had never tried Copaxone! http://practical-homeschooling.orgwww.laurascoolstuff.com Hi,I have a friend that has MS, possibly secondary progressive. Guest guest
That's just awful about your friend, . That's what my friend said--they changed their criteria. She's on Rebif now, but it is not helpingher walking at all. She constantly stumbles and nearly falls withevery step she takes. I think she should have a cane or walker, butI guess she is prideful or something. All I know is, she is an accidentwaiting to happen! Thanks for writing back.hugs, Kate Re: ampryaTo: MSersLife > I have a friend here (I'm in Canada) with a law suit against the > government. She was on Tysabri (another MS drug), but they cut > her off of it after being> on it for a year since they changed their criteria. Guest guest
Dan is on this drug and I remember he got help with it. Do you remember the details, Kate? Has your friend contacted the drug company to see if she qualifies for help? SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
There's a list in the group files of places to try for help with meds, Kate. Maybe that would help your friend? Guest guest
Thanks, Dan. I appreciate the input.Apparently, she has filed an appeal with the insurance company, and Iguess that has to be denied before she can contact Acorda for theassistance. Hopefully, the appeal will be favorable, and the insurancewill, in fact, cover the med. Thanks again, hugs, Kateps, how is the new apt? From: Dao Nguu Date: Tuesday, June 29, 2010 1:48 amSubject: RE: ampryaTo: mserslife > > She should contact Acorda (maker of Ampyra) to apply for > financial assistance.> > Dan U > dao_nguu@...> > > > > > To: MSersLife > Date: Sun, 27 Jun 2010 10:47:06 -0700> Subject: Re: amprya> > > > > > > Dan is on this drug and I remember he got help with it.
