Correct me if I am wrong. I have heard and read that Methyl B12 is best absorbed if administered as a subcutaneous injection. If not SC injection, nasal spray works but dose needs to be about 10 times higher that of SC injection and oral Methyl B12 has least absorption. (Ref. Bock's book -Healing the New Childhood Epidemics: Autism, ADHD, Asthma, and Allergies: The Groundbreaking Program for the 4-A Disorders)

If this is true, why folks still go for oral Methyl B-12?

Many possible reasons.1. No access to Rx MB12.2. Rx doses are too high for their kid to tolerate3. Injections are impossible4. Nasal spray is impossible5. Cost6. Lives in a country where they can't get it compounded7. Any other number of reasons that someone chooses not to use Rx.My son doesn't tolerate MB12 at all. Each child is different and will have different needs. Yes, it is best absorbed as subq but that doesn't make it the best method of delivery for every child. Some absorb just fine as oral and don't need the ridiculously high dosages. Some need to have shots every day instead of every 3 days.There is *nothing* about biomed that is written in stone or will be the same for every child. It's simply not a blanket recipe for everyone.My son isn't even GFCF and he's mostly recovered. You do what works for your kid, not what someone tells you works for someone else's kid and how you determine that involves many things, including (unfortunately) trial and error.

Well, studies in the autism arena and parental reports show that the majority of our kids respond best to the shots or nasal. Keep in mind that the majority of our kids also have gut dysbiosis which could very well be the reason why oral does not work for them. Gluten can also inhibit b12's absorption if given orally.My son is not a gut kid. We have tried both injections, oral and sublingual. He response to all is the same. So, as in most cases here with just about all treatments, every kid is different. If you deal with gut dysbiosis or you are NOT gluten-free, you might be better off trying the shots or nasal first. When I first learned about MB12, I couldn't wait to get a doctor to prescribe the shots. I went to walmart and got the sublingual and we were just starting the whole biomedical thing and trying to learn.

I gave my son 1 dropper each night. On the day following the 3rd dose, he was incredibly verbal and inquisitive. It went away the next day immediately and never came back.

So, we tried the shots, these were give every 3rd day, but the same thing happened. After the 3rd dose, which would have been on the 10th day, he had an awesome day in school and was real verbal. It disappearred immediately.

I don't know why, but it never came back. It is as if his body adjusted and shut down.

We have just started the revitapop. We haven't passed the 3 day stage yet, but we have noticed a little difference. On another note, my brother-in-law, who is A.D.D and very anxious/paranoid tried one and he keeps begging for more because he said they make him feel less anxious. I tried one and I didn't feel anything. I'm the one paying for them so I have to go by what I see in my son and the fact that my brother in law says they help him.

If anything for me, it's an expensive treat that helps my son "fit in" when the other kids are consuming massive quantities of High Fructose Corn Syrup.

For me, which I have done all three with my 2 (brother and son)...at a given

point, I found that the oral was as effective, but more importantly, it was

important for us at the time to get all the B Vitamins, not just the B12. I

think that status changes as you move along the biomed path. At least for us it

did. I hope that makes sense.

My reason too... we can't have other lollipops in general, so would have to by special and expensive ones anyway, and now these will have a vitamin in them. My son may not be able to tolerate them, but my daughter will (he is the hyper-sensitive one to b12)

I don't want to by them for 1$ a lollipop though!
