Guest guest
GS, I just keep thinking about you saying your parents tried to get you to go into sewage as a career, among others things, and I can't help myself: If there was ever any doubt that these people were CRAZY - not that there ever was any doubt, oh, no, none whatsoever, but just in case there had been any doubt - this completely obliterates it. I mean seriously. YOU? With your creative, quirky personality? Did they not know you at all? Sewage management? CRAZY, LOONY, Nutty as squirrel....well, you know. Okay. Just had to get that off my chest. Em
Guest guest
I think that sometimes, without intending to, our mentally ill parents let the truth slip out... that despite the surface appearance, underneath the facade that looks like parental concern they genuinely despise us and wish us ill. That's what occurred to me when I read that " career in sewage " suggestion. Almost as blatantly malicious as " How about a career as a heroin-addicted street whore, honey? " -Annie > > GS, > > I just keep thinking about you saying your parents tried to get you to go into sewage as a career, among others things, and I can't help myself: > If there was ever any doubt that these people were CRAZY - not that there ever was any doubt, oh, no, none whatsoever, but just in case there had been any doubt - this completely obliterates it. > I mean seriously. Guest guest
what strikes me as funny is that this is exactly what the job description of a KO of a bpd parent is: sewage management. Getting poo flung at you, putting up with bullsh*t, etc etc etc. It's really not that far-fetched that they would expect someone to do it in adulthood. All the toxic rage and resentment and bitterness, the malignancy of the PD mindset, spewing at us day after day for years on end...sewage management. > > GS, > > I just keep thinking about you saying your parents tried to get you to go into sewage as a career, among others things, and I can't help myself: > If there was ever any doubt that these people were CRAZY - not that there ever was any doubt, oh, no, none whatsoever, but just in case there had been any doubt - this completely obliterates it. > I mean seriously. Guest guest
Yeah wow guys - I always saw it an indication of fada's fearful ways, and desperation for security more than anything. But this actually helps me open my eyes. YEAH, duh, I was meant to do things like direct plays and write stories, build sets, sew costumes and do anything under the sun that is domestic, not fling poooo!!! Yes they were totally shocked when i said no thanks to their poopy lives. ha ha no sewage for me and no more disfunctional family!!! BYE BYE I have to admit, I have always been strange among my peers - super dreamy as a little kid and always making things, and as a teen very brainy and always making things, reading and studying and playing music, performing. . . I wasn't free to really express my personality around them. But then duh it was their jobs to get to know their daughter. Nada also tried to make me into a boy. And if you guys saw me in person you would be hysterical that she tried that because I am all girl - long hair and wear pink or black dresses every single day!!!! > ** > > > what strikes me as funny is that this is exactly what the job description > of a KO of a bpd parent is: sewage management. Guest guest
Not sure how this applies, but other than quirky irony. In my senior year of HS I was in Chem 2. One grading period we had an independant study project which accounted for half our grade. I did a multi media presentation of the local sewer plant, complete with slides of raw sewage, and a glass of water from the local taps, inviting my classmates to have a drink, and show how much they trusted the process! KO s is wierd kids!
