The WAPF website lists cod liver oil, gland and organ extracts, kelp, nutritional yeast and wheat germ oil among other superfoods. I think raw liver belongs in this category - it is truly the gold standard of nutrient-dense food, and i think it's highly digestible as well. THAT'S why we should eat it BUT, I think moderation may be best...so as not to overdo vits A and D, copper and selenium, but I imagine the *optimal* amount for each of us would vary.
