It's hot this week, but can run to the bedroom and sit in some AC for

awhile;

We THINK Himself should be able to fix the car for about $200, instead of

paying th $800 at the shop, we'll just pretend we're still fasting and stick

to the cheapo veggie beans-n-taters-n-rice awhile longer... :-)

Weak and shaky and a little too emo from the heat, and have a bad case

of shaky/weak/sore hands that I think is more likely from 3-4 hours every

night modelstitching than the MS. Yesterday I couldn't speak a coherent

complete sentence to save my life, there was a lot of charades going on, but

that seems better today.

And I think Himself is getting closer to considering keeping some

chickens. :-D

*sigh* still just Robbin and I, Rob said he will be home by the 4th. Been dealing with electric issues here in the house, Mel has the electrician working on it (funny thing is the electrician owns a famous bar...which is nearby...named Porkys!)

It is hot, but thankfully the A/C works very well and the house is kept at about 77*, which is actually pretty cool, and I can always hit the button and lower it anytime. I try to keep it there to save poor Mel's power bill...

Sometimes in the afternoon I do lower it a bit, because the kitchen window has no drapes and the sun comes boiling in there on sunny afternoons, Mel is going to put curtains on it so that will help keep the place cool (and save on her bill as well).

Making hash and eggs tonight, easy, quick and filling.

Been "talking" with a nice guy online, doubt anything will come of it but it's worth a try and I like the attention, been a long time...of course with my luck he's another Scammer. So far, though, he hasn't shown signs as such...

Ahh... chickens! It's wonderful to have fresh eggs all the time. Good luck and I hope hubby decides yes. Sorry bout the charades. I understand. I've been having a thick tongue--don't know how else to describe it. It makes it hard at story-time. I've been reading books to the grandkids everyday and my tongue gets in the way, or something, and I have a hard time pronouncing some words. I hope you will feel better all around . And I hope your hot weather eases off soon! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. The

Hi Sharon,

Chuck goes for his last steroid treatment a week from Tues. Hes doing pretty good. The weather finally cooled off and is supposed to stay near 80 till the 4th. Then back to the 90's. This has been the strangest 6 months weather wise. Not much else going on.

Hugs

Things are looking better here! I

saw the urologist Friday and the sono shows that my bladder is now doing a

great job of emptying - - Yay, bladder! He cautioned me to make frequent

trips to empty (not my norm), and said this is very common with MS –

especially newly diagnosed. I’ve not had that info forwarded to the

neuro, since I don’t know if I’ll go back to him. Downside is

that while the pressure has been relieved, the pain is still there. Darn

pain!

We had also been on pins and needles, as

my husband had been having chest tightness and shortness of breath - - but he

had a cardiac stress test yesterday and the MD said his heart was functioning

well. Praise Almighty!

So – a little bit of relaxation this

week – we’re both on vacation and staying at home. The

gardens and house will get some much needed attention --- and so will the pool!
