Research in athletic training and EMS

Hello All-

My name is Yamashiro. I'm a certified athletic trainer and

graduate student looking to do research regarding the cooperation

between athletic trainers and EMS in administering emergency care for

a sport related injury. I feel that its during these emergency

situations when care must be efficient and conflict-free for the sake

of the student-athlete.

The goal of my research project is to gain an understanding of EMS'

experiences with athletic trainers and sport related injuries. Below

is a link to the survey which you may answer at anytime of your

choosing. The information gathered from my research will aid athletic

trainers in developing a more efficient and conflict free plan of

action in the event that EMS is called for asssitance for a sport

related injury.
