Can anybody say great idea in concept but a very bad idea in practice.

There is a reason every hospital I can think of has stopped giving

medical advise over the phone. It will work until the first time

someone is denied an Ambulance and Dies.

Do HMO even use RN phone systems any more?

My insurance company, humana has a 1800 number on the back of my card

where you can call and speak to a nurse 24/7 over issues. I have

never had to use it nor do I know of anyone that has, but I'm sure

it's a good resource. Be safe.
