This is really, truly from my local paper in the police reports! I wanted to share:June 19: A local man reported a bright light in the western sky, about 30 degrees above the horizon. Officers said it appeared to be the planet Mars. In their notes, officers then stated they researched the light and found it was actually the planet Venus. They then noted "It was located just out of our jurisdiction. " SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
I can't help but thinking about the sheriff in the book "Flight of the Stone Angel" (also published as "Stone angel"), who takes down a police report from an autistic boy about a missing star (you know, the kind on the sky, slightly out of the jurisdiction of a small town sheriff...). He does it because the boy is genuinely upset about the missing star, and because he knows he'll be able to bring the star back... But that's another story. Go read if you wanna know how! The author is Carol O'Connell ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_O%27Connell )love/Reb>> lol, Sharon--that's a good one! actual police report--very funny! To: Group > This is from my local newspaper today. Guest guest
This is a small community and our police reports are often quite humorous. The police here are busy with "busy work". lol SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
