Guest guest
My morning radio dj ticked me off this morning. He was talking (on and on and on) about those folks who walk into Walmart and then use the electric carts. He didn't say 'healthy' people, he was just condemning ANYONE who walked from their car then get into a cart. I called and told him not to be so quick to judge as there are people out there who have invisible disabilities, who be able to walk short distances, but canNOT shop a big store without the carts. Before I had to use the cane all the time, I could walk unaided into the store, and maybe just lean on the shopping cart for short trips, but major shopping required the electric cart. I would have been one of those this a-hole was condemning. And yes, those who use the carts and don't need them are not nice folks but I don't rush to judgement anymore. Anyway, just had to let off a little steam.

Guest guest
I did some research after I posted to see if I could verify that I heard him say those things. I know he made some recent comments on autism that got him into a little trouble. Years ago I'd listen to him on the radio because, even though I didn't agree with most of his views, he could be funny. A blog regarding Savage's comments about autism: http://mediamatters.org/research/200807170005 The new place is going well. I've been letting Whisper the Cat out into the enclosed courtyard. She spends about 5 minutes outside and then comes back in. Dan U dao_nguu@... To: MSersLife From: katelloydkidz@...Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2010 17:22:46 +0000Subject: Re: RE: ticked off!!
