Could it be gallstones? I know the gallbladder is in the ribcage area on the

right hand side. It's very common for people who have lost a lot of weight to

need their gallbladders removed.

I know the liver and gall bladder is on the right side but just because you

are having pain on the right side does not necessarily mean that the pain is

coming from an organ on the right side, it could be radiating pain from the left

side. I have a cyst on my left ovary but the pain is on the right side. I know

with losing weight that I have been using more muscles. If it is muscle, you

might try something like Myoflex.

Good Luck,

Darlene

even if you have had your gallbladder removed people can still make stones,

and they can block the common bile duct. So, see your doc, they can do a hida

scan or an ercp/mri to check for a stone, as for normal anatomy I know they can

get to stones using a different scope called an ercp, but not sure with

gbs.........

good question for the surgeons when I go back and we want to pick on the medical

students.

Does any one else already finished with treatment have motivation problems? I'm

4 months out of treatment, feeling pretty good physically, minor side effects

and sore joints, but doing okay. I do get tired but I think some is medication.

I'm already on anti-depressant and now another med for hot flashes that also

treats anxiety. My mind seems motivated but I just can't seem to get my body to

go along. I'd rather take a nap than clean the house. I own my own business

which is currently only about part time hours, sometimes more, sometimes less

just depends on the projects that I am working on at the moment. Christmas can

be extremely stressful, but I've got most of my shopping done, most of the

wrapping done and most of the planning done. No big family get togethers, so big

parties or activities. Grandson does have a birthday party tonight, birthday on

Saturday (we are his guardians and he lives with us so we do tend to take care

of most things with help from his Dad). BUT, even with all this, I just would

rather not clean the house (not that that was a big thing before bc) or do much

of anything other than sit at the computer or sleep. I know that sounds like

depression, but again, I'm motivated waking up, got all these things I want to

get done but once I get started I just poop out. Am I expecting too much or just

not pushing hard enough?

Any opinions, girls?

Barb,

You need to listen to your body. Just do a few things at a time. It sounds like

you might be over doing with everything you have listed in your email. If it

continues then I would talk to your onc or family dr. I will keep you in my

prayers.

Well, I'm hoping you are right..... although I don't think this house can wait

til spring. Hopefully once the hustle and bustle of Christmas is over, I'll

find a little motivation.
