Guest guest
We've been having a slew of problems getting paid following NPI implementation. Actually, I don't know if it's a slew really, or just one....we have had several days of no payment, including one string of four days straight that really got my attention. And Trailblazer says there is " no problem " , but can't explain the skipped payments. Has anybody else had no-pay issues? These are not denials....Trailblazers says everything is just great with our claims, and they are " fixin to " pay us a bunch of money...and then they just...don't. And they can't tell us why they didn't, and really are not responding to our querries. Our billing folks are quite confident the problem is that NPI is kicking Trailblazer's butt, and we are the symptom of that, but Trailblazer is not about to admit it (especially to their " bosses " at CMS Regional). I've been talking directly to the Dallas CMS office lately about it, and their response has pretty much been " huh? " I know that a few other services have had this issue, but as we escalate our pressure on Trailblazers and CMS (various Senators are now calling them...) it would be very helpful to know if it is limited to just the couple folks I've talked to lately, or if it is more widespread within Trailblazer's base. Have y'all called Trailblazers yet?? They were very helpful with us.
