trigeminal neuralgia flare/MS flare?

I woke to left side-of-the-head pain this morning and it has stayed with me all day. It's not horrible pain but it is there. For several years I have only had right side TN pain/discomfort. It hasn't hit the left side for about 7 years now. In addition to the TN flare I have had some transient spasms and electric shocks. I hope this isn't a true MS flare. We'll see how it goes.
