Guest guest
Thanks for asking:) I did send an update, too. Did you not get it in your inbox? How's homeschooling going with the kids? I've been reading to my granddaughters every day. We have a fun, reading book going all the time (right now it's "The Borrowers") and I read from various learning books and then we discuss. It's been interesting. On Friday I read about totem poles in Alaska. Then I told the girls they have a cousin who is a fairly well-known totem pole carver in Ketchikan. He is half Tlinket Indian. His mother is my first cousin. The girls were pretty impressed when I did an internet search on his name and they saw page after page of hits on his name and his carvings. Things like that really make learning a personal experience. Unfortunately, I don't have a cousin for everything we learn about;) lolYour online classes sound interesting. Since the school isn't accredited yet will they count toward your degree?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I started on a BSc in Computer Science through University of the People. I highly suggest this place if you want to study from home. They are a tuition-free university based in California. Still new, but they are seeking accreditation and so far, the experience has been positive. Their goal is to become accessible to everyone. http://uopeople.org www.laurabeaudin.com --NOT just another blog!http://practical-homeschooling.org It's time for an update from each of you!
