Watauga Firefighter/Paramedic Larry Passed away on Wednesday June 25, 2008

It is with tremendous sadness that the Watauga Fire Department

announces the passing of Firefighter/Paramedic Larry .

Firefighter/Paramedic succumbed to his fight with cancer on

Wednesday June 25, 2008.

A viewing will take place on Sunday June 29, 2008 between 6:00 P.M.

and 8:00 P.M. at Mount Olivet Funeral Home located at 2301 N. E. 28th

Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.

Firefighter/Paramedic will be memorialized with Fire Department

Honors at a service on Tuesday July 1, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. The

memorial service will be held at Arlington Park Baptist Church

located at 5510 Matlock Road, Arlington, Texas 76018.

A Fire Department lead procession will then carry

Firefighter/Paramedic to his final resting place in the

Ascension Gardens of Mount Olivet Funeral Home, located at 2301 N. E.

28th Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76111. Here Family, Friends and the

Watauga Fire Department will bid a final farewell in a short

graveside ceremony.

Any departments wishing to take part in the procession please contact

Watauga Fire Marshal Randy Barkley no later than 12:00 P.M. on

Saturday June 28, 2008.

The staff and physicians of the North Hills Hospital Emergency Department

mourn your lost. Larry was always a pleasure to work and visit with on his

frequent visits to our place. Although years ago it seems like just

yesterday that he was graduating from rookie school. While cancer ended his

life, he died doing what he wanted..serving others in the Best Profession on

earth. God Bless the Wautaga Department as they grieve the loss of a

Brother.
