Guest guest
I thought I was getting better from my current flare but this morning I woke up with much more numbness in my feet and legs. I have been having a terrible time with constipation which then makes the urinary problems worse. It's a never ending cycle! I did have my daughter-in-law pick up a bottle of the cranberry juice Diva told me about. I have it on ice and then I will drink it soon. I hope it cures the frequent urination and trouble emptying my bladder. For the constipation I increased my daily helping of my homemade naturally fermented cabbage as well as the naturally fermented beets. That finally got me going this morning. Does anyone else here have a bad time with constipation? I have decided if it's not way better by Tuesday I will call Dr. D and get some oral prednisone to take. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Sorry you're feeling more numbness Sharon . As for the urinary problem, drink the cranberry juice and twice as much water as juice if it's bad. The cranberry capsules did nothing for me. I think we need the volume to make us pass the reflux fluid we don't easily pass. So it just pools and causes us problems. Another thing I do if it's hurting badly is take up to 4 gr of vitC with tons of liquid, slowing down when I get the runs. The urinary antiseptic I take is called mandelamine ... I've heard but I'm not sure that you don't require an rx for it in the US. It definitely helps me but again, I need lots of fluids. As for constipation, I raise my hand! And the pressure on the bladder doesn't help that way. I don't take anything specific for it, just try to add fiber and eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies. But I've had the problem ever since I started Vasotec for my bp. Just came up for a second. The top floor is sweltering so I"m camping out on the couch tonight. Guess who forgot to turn on the a/c? ... hugs, Cait MS flare -- constipation, numbness, urinary stuff.... Guest guest
Constipation is a regular (so to speak) problem. The medicines we take play a big part in that. They dry us out. I take Metamucil daily as a supplement.Dan U dao_nguu@... To: mserslife From: wobbletowalk@...Date: Fri, 2 Jul 2010 20:56:09 -0700Subject: MS flare -- constipation, numbness, urinary stuff....
