Guest guest
(RESENDING SINCE THE PIC DIDN'T SHOW UP ON THE GROUP PAGE)So I created this new signature that I can just send out because quite frankly it's really annoying to answer this question over and over again. I don't mind helping when there's an actual problem. It *does* bother me otherwise because there are files sent out to every member upon joining detailing how to make the most of this list which seems to largely get ignored. That's fine if you want to ignore it, I'm perfectly okay with that and I *do* accept that that is the first inclination that people have because well, it's mine too. But that doesn't excuse me or you from the fact that it was sent to you, the information has always been there and it's in every email. Don't ask me to unsubscribe you. I won't. Not when these lists are specifically made to be subscribed and unsubscribed at will. YOU are in control of where you choose to stay. Not to mention a simple search of the archives will answer this questions only about a gazillion times. The file that goes to every new member is also supposed to go out once a month to the list but for some reason there is a glitch in the Yahoo! matrix that they refuse to fix so it has not once been sent out beyond new membership. So I remedied that by creating the below signature which I will start using upon every unsubscription request. It's snarky. It's supposed to be. The answer is EVERYWHERE and IN PLAIN SIGHT and yet I still get asked… I have gotten emails from people repeatedly asking me to remove them. I have even eventually broken down and taken the time to respond and they still come back in a week asking me to remove them because they can't even pay attention to a reply to their own email. So you can see why this is frustrating to me and why I have a snarky response to unsubscription requests. They make me grumpy. I'm snarky when I'm grumpy. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the "DON'T FREAKING ASK ME TO DO WHAT YOU CAN DO YOURSELF" signature. May you giggle and point and laugh with me. You can change your subscription settings to NO MAIL if you would like to stop getting emails but maintain membership and read online. You do this from the group's homepage (link at the end of every list email), then edit your membership. You can also change your email address there.OR
Guest guest
Here's a link to the pic in case you can't see it. I'll make sure to add the link to my signature. http://yhoo.it/zC9DIW > > (RESENDING SINCE THE PIC DIDN'T SHOW UP ON THE GROUP PAGE) > > So I created this new signature that I can just send out because quite frankly it's really annoying to answer this question over and over again.
