Thanks for asking about my granddaughter, Kate. She is feeling better! She apparently had a 12 hour 'something' and by yesterday evening she was back to her regular self. She was up early (as always), checking on Chub Chub and then out to take care of the poultry. She WAS horribly embarrassed by barfing inside Walmart! She said she never wants to go there again. lolhugsSharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I sure

hope Kate is feeling better today..

I can imagine her embarrassment at Wall-Mart as well.. not

pleasant at any age.. but 14 would be even worse..

Wish our Humane Society would Neuter for a Nickel.. would be

great.. unfortunately, when our local Humane Society gets

something like that going.. you can't be sure of which vet is

going to be doing the actual surgery.. and we've got a few in

the area that just aren't that good..

Once more.. I sure do hope that Kate is feeling better, and that

it was only a 24 (would prefer 12) hour bug that she shakes

quickly.. And that nobody else comes down with it too..

Chub Chub had a pretty bad night inside the

house complete with lots of sorrowful yowling. He has no clue

about the litter box, of course, so he made a bit of a mess in

the bathroom. Lady, the dog that always thinks she is in

charge, barked at the bathroom door and then would come and bark

at me to wake me. Over and over. It was a looong night, let me

tell you:) This morning (the 14 year old) went with her

dad to drop Chub Chub off at the vet.

Then Kate and dad went to Walmart and Kate suddenly got sick and

threw up INSIDE Walmart 5 times! She even threw up on a display

of movies for sale. She is still horribly ill and lying on the

couch covered to the chin with a big comforter. What the heck

happened to Kate? No one else is sick except her. She hasn't

been anywhere to pick up any germs so I don't know what is wrong

with her.

I went out a few minutes ago to feed and water the chickens and

ducks. Kate is the one who normally takes care of the poultry.

The birds were happy to see me I think. But who can tell? lol

Chub Chub should be home soon. My son and grandson went to pick

him up. It's an hour drive each way. I will let you all know

how Chub Chub likes his new improved self:)

BTW, it only cost me a nickle to get him 'fixed'. The humane

society was running a special 'Neuter for a Nickle" deal and I

jumped on it. We wanted to get at least one other barn kittie

neutered but they none of the others are tame enough.

I'm sure she was embarrassed. I

would have been devastated (still would be). Did you share any

embarrassing moments from your youth to make her feel better?

Sometimes that helps

And 12 hours was 11 and 3 quarters hours tooooooo long.. And I'm

glad she's feeling better now.
