Guest guest
Several explosions taking place in a crowded shopping district of Stockholm, capital of Sweden, yesterday afternoon, when holiday shopping was at it's height, was the result of a terrorist attack. Severe but unspecified threats had been made to the police and to news agencies minutes before the explosions. Multiple explosions came from one parked car, it was believed to have been filled with some kind of gas tubes, which would have caused a serial explosion, or multiple explosions, like that. Only a block away, and at around the same time, another explosion took place, believed to have been the result of an attack of a suicide bomber. At that time and at that place the result could very well have been a massive disaster. But luckily enough, as of yet at least, only one death (that of the presumed suicide bomber) and a only a few injured have been reported. Having all of my family in Stockholm this weekend (most of my siblings live there, but this weekend the rest of them, and both my parents, were there too) I was of course very worried when I heard of terrorist bombings in central Stockholm, but as far as I know so far, none of them were affected. Now I am kind of relieved (about the low extremely low death count), and a bit worried (about the future, will this be a recurring thing?). love/Reb

Guest guest
I am truly sorry Reb - terrorism is never right - it is innocent people that suffer - like the Christmas they bombed Harrod's in London you are all in my prayers God, grant me the strength of eagles wings, the faith and courage to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on his spirit to carry me there. Guest guest
I haven't visited the links yet.. will be doing so in a second or two. My heart dropped into my stomach when I read this. I'm relieved to hear that your family is safe. Can't say unaffected because I'm sure they are definitely affected. I can't imagine the effect this is having on them. Shanksville, PA isn't all that far from here, and 's niece lives in the.. well in this case, crash path, of the airliner that was downed by the passengers in the 9-11 attack. She felt the vibration of the plane flying over low and then not only heard but felt the impact as well. She was terrified, so from her reaction, I'm sure your family might feel the same way.. as well as yourself. Again, I am happy to hear that nobody from your family were hurt. My heart goes out to any families that were affected by the explosions. My thoughts and prayers for your safety & wellbeing are with you and your family, now and in the coming weeks. Guest guest
Terrible! Is this related to the Wikileaks editor Assange? Has any group claimed responsibility yet? From what I have read in our news it hasn't been linked to Assange but I didn't know what you were hearing there.I am SO thankful the death count is so low. I hope there are no more deaths--one is more than enough.love to you Reb and your entire family (and country!0 SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
