Guest guest
No, I haven't heard anything about a Wikileaks or Assange connection. The threatening e-mail that were sent to the police and to news agencies right before the attack gave thepresence of Swedish troops in Afghanistan and the Muhammed cartoon by a Swedishartist as reasons for declaring a Jihad on Sweden and the Swedish people. It does seem tobe an Islamistic connection of one kind of the other (but please note that I am not equatingIslamistic terrorism with Islam as a religion. Extremists, and violent extremists especially, are dangerous no matter what religion or ideology they claim to be acting on behalf of). I hear that the suicide bomber were armed (is that the word?) with six bombs, pipe bombs I think, but that only one of them went off. That's why none other than the bomber were killed, and so few injured. Had all six gone off, it would have been a whole other scenario. I'm thankful it didn't.love/Reb>> Terrible! Guest guest
Apparently, he (the bomber) had been living in the UK for the last years: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-11980221There are things to indicate that he was not the only one in on it. Like, that the threat mail was sent from southern Sweden, at a time when the bomber must have already been on site, in Stockholm (not in south Sweden). And that, if I understood it correctly, the car used was not registered on the bomber himself. But I am thinking/hoping that they, whatever group they are, feel they are done now.love/Reb> >> > Terrible! Is this related to the Wikileaks editor Assange?
