Guest guest
Hi~ We just started with a DAN doctor in the Bay Area (Lynne Mielke) and did our initial bloodwork. The viral panel showed my 3 year old autistic son has had Roseaola and CMV in the past (not active) which we were unaware of. I understand that these are herpes viruses. Any else test positive for these and have success with anti-viral medication? Would love some feedback... Thanks, in CA
Guest guest
Yes, Our son has extremely high IgG for CMV and HHV6. We only use natural antivirals so far but intend to pursue valtex when we can fine a Dr to dose it appropriately.Sent from my iPhone Hi~ We just started with a DAN doctor in the Bay Area (Lynne Mielke) and did our initial bloodwork. Guest guest
My son has EBV and HHV6. Antivirals are the bomb in my house. But you must accept that it's long term therapy. My son is almost 8 and has been on them since he was 3. And no end in sight... ~Antiviral Therapy 101~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com/ ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Yes, Our son has extremely high IgG for CMV and HHV6. Guest guest
, When you say your son has extremely high IgG for CMV and HHV6, would you mind sharing the number for the HHV6? My son's titers for HHV6 are 2.70 and the ref range is >1.10 is positive. We still haven't tried valtrex. Thanks!a still hedging Trixie Hi~ We just started with a DAN doctor in the Bay Area (Lynne Mielke) and did our initial bloodwork. Guest guest
How about if antiviral didn't do any tremendously progress or stop from stimming behavior even though my son has viral like ebv and hhv6 also rubella ? Is it mean the antiviral wasn't the right one or it should need time to suppress the virals in a long run?? How could I know that the antiviral working or not? Because his titer keep going up and down or stable on the same rate. Sent from my BlackBerry® smartphone from Sinyal Bagus XL, Nyambung Teruuusss...! Re: Roseaola and CMV positive... Guest guest
Sure. I will look later and confirm the exact #s CMV I'm pretty sure was 6.6 with a similar reference range. I think HHV6 was even higher. As I said I'll check tests and resend later today. Our son is a responder to the following "natural" antivirals-L lysineMonolaurin OLEVirastopI hope this is helpfulSent from my iPhone, When you say your son has extremely high IgG for CMV and HHV6, would you mind sharing the number for the HHV6? Guest guest
Thank you ! Are you using Valtrex or do you just use the naturals you mentioned? Guest guest
We just use the naturals. None of his physicians are comfortable presribing valtrex for more than a few weeks and that will make rye virus more resistant. Until we find someoone who will prescribe pong term in sufficient amounts I'm going to stick with naturals. We will probably rerun these titres in December and see if we've had any movement.Sent from my iPhone Thank you ! Are you using Valtrex or do you just use the naturals you mentioned?
