Guest guest
Hi, I have a relative who is rec'ing B12 shots 1x/mo at his doctor's office. He knows that it is not enough. He didn't know that he may need to add folonic or that it could be in his shot. He didn't know he could do the shot at home or more often. Does anyone have a good pubmed article he could take to his doctor? I've searched the files and didn't find what I was looking for. Thanks, Carolyn
Guest guest
Your relative has real pernicious anemia for which he has been given the shot. Once a month shot for B12 is enough for pernicious anemia/megablastic anemia. Remember that MB12 shot in autism is experimental at its best and is more likely helping with methylation than upping the levels of B12. Your relative has REAL deficiency in B12. There is no literature that has been published that will say that you will need to take more than once a month shot of b12 for pernicious anemia. > > Thanks, > Carolyn >
Guest guest
Agreed. You won't find anything like that for anemia. The dose he's taking is more than enough for anemia. ~Antiviral Therapy 101~ gryffinstail.wordpress.com/ ~~ @Gryffins_Tail ~ Your relative has real pernicious anemia for which he has been given the shot.
