Hello parasite experts,Do parasites change the color/consistency of stools and can you have parasite flares and if so what does this look like?I will have to look into these books (my stack is growing). Thank you so much for keeping parasites on the radar!!! Please keep it up!! And I am hoping biomed Dr. #6 who we are talking with next week will have some experience with parasites! The last 5 we've seen this past year seem to not consider parasites at all.....we are currently back on flagyl (for clostridia but also wondering if there is a parasite element here) and sporanox and we quickly saw some cognitive/language gains (which had declined slowly since stopping flagyl/sporanox last Nov and then a new illness

in Jan hit). We have also seen some new social communication gains in the last couple of days. He's been asking kids to play at the park which he had never done before and holding more typical back and forth conversations with his little sister. He also seems stronger again. It seems like every time he gets sick, he grows weak but at least this time he is bouncing back quicker.....still have to figure out if there is a PANDAS/PANs element going on too.....hope the new dr. will help us with that one as well!!Good luck with the parasites!!megan From: Caryn_Reid

You would probably like the Dr Simon Yu book. He believes in killing parasites, chelation and restoring nutrients. He feels the 3 things together restore health. He also talks about how viruses and bacteria are just products of parasitic infections.

I am open to a long conversation. Feel free to email me. Caryn

Hi ,We've had alot of problems with zinc lately. Both of my kids are low and outside the range in RBC (especially my daughter) but serum is high (very high for my daughter). My daughter also has very high testosterone according to a recent test and I think it is linked to the high dose zinc she was getting (she was on 60mg and we are now down to about 30mg -- she's about 30lbs). It has been hard to bring it down (her stool and behavior were getting worse at first)....do you think this could be linked to parasites? Interestingly, when I added in folinic acid, her behavior seemed to improve -- not sure of the connection yet....Will have to start looking into humaworm. Did you ever try artemesia/clove from bioray?

I bought it a couple months ago and then asked our DAN at the time about doing a parasite cleanse and she didnt think my sensitive kids could handle it...bc according to her, "parasite cleanses are hard on the body".....so in short she scared me off of it for awhile but now that they seem a bit healthier maybe we can try that route soon.... thank u I did check on their website and no unfortunately they no longer ship here.... Pls could u be so kind to send me a list of the ingredients so I could google around to find something comparable.... Many thanksSent from my iPod

I don't think so unfortunately. Because of some ban on one of the ingredients I suppose? It is a shame because it is truly a respectable and reliable product. On thier website they list the herbal ingredients. When it is delivered it comes with amounts of each ingredient.

We do it now every 90 days. 30 days on, 90 days off, 30 days on. It was such a life changer, we want to hold our gains. And we are still seeing one remaining parasite, microscopic roundworm (ascaris). I'm looking into all options to track this down. There is a recommended natural that actually grows locally here, wormseed. This will be my next step I hope. We are also stepping into the world of organ cleansing using herbs and protocols, because parasites use different organs for parts of their life cycles, or to get out of range of treatments. But I am getting educated on prescription meds also because I feel that it is such a significant issue to us that I should understand all options and their benefits.

So I haven't been paying attention to the thread but I noticed the subject line and thought I'd chime in with Piracetam/phosphatidyl choline (I always spell that wrong…). Can help with gross and fine motor skills. Most nootropics can.

, thanks for all the help. I just wanted to learn from you as to how to

proceed with my son. Currently, there are too many things going on. He has a

yeast flare and is getting diflucan (just completed 3 weeks). Also is taking

vancomycin to kinda keep clostridia from flaring again with diflucan. He is

receiving gcmaf shots and in a way it is helping his body fight off viruses. I

have been trying to add some supps that he needs for his mitochondria. I have

been wondering for the last few months when I will get a chance to treat

parasites. When you were treating for parasites, were you dealing with any other

bugs or issues at the same time? I was thinking that I will hit the yeast hard

with the antifungal, then gradually try to get rid of both diflucan and

vancomycin and then start working on parasites. But then from your posts and

Caryn's posts, it seems like that unless the parasites are treated, it will be

very hard to control yeast and clostridia. Let me know if I am doing the right

thing by waiting for the yeast treatment (which I don't even know would fix the

issue)to start the antiparasite treatments? Another question that comes to my

mind is that we visited some relatives in a country where parasites are very

common. When we came back, my son regressed and developed dark circles, multiple

allergies. Now he is considered to be a viral kid with all his immune issues.

Could the parasites be responsible in predisposing a child to chronic viral

infections? I know that parasites can do anything but do you have any knowledge

of a direct relationship between parasites and viruses?

Thanks

I'm not sure how it all works, but there definitely is a symbiotic relationship btwn those players. I think they all help to disrupt/derail the immune system. I think it is important to work on all of it. I like adding in homeopathics/herbals to help, as well. We are using Nutramedix to help with binders and with getting the bugs - both infections and parasites. We also just started AC chelation again. Did it in the past with really good results. We've never worked on things together, though, so I am hoping that this will be a good thing for us. Will keep you posted.Ruth
