runny nose

Does anyone have any suggestions for the constant dripping nose I've

had since chemo started. I'm half way thru my 6 months treatment. At

home sometimes I walk around with kleenex stuffed up my nose! Also the

cracked peeling finger tips (ouch!) I handle the nause much better than

these side effects.

this too shall pass...once you're done with the chemo--this was, for

me, just one of the side effects from taxotere (are you getting a

taxane?) my nose was a mess, my eyes--i remember I had expkained it to

the chemo nurse this way: " I feel like I've been in a room with 10

cats " (I'm allergic to cats)...

now, about a month out, my nose is getting back to norml, and only my

left eye drips, in the morning, mostly...

Ah, Arizona! That says a lot!! Run a humidifier. After I lost my

nose hairs due to chemo, my onc recommended that. It floored me because

we live in Ohio, the state where Humidity is its middle name. I moved

from Colorado (similar to Arizona), so am learning to deal with a vastly

different humidity. It seems we're constantly DEhumidifying. Still,

it's winter, and my onc said to humidify.
