How to know if Valtrex is working?

Hi! I am new to this message board and have a general question about

Valtrex...how do you know if its working????

My 3 y/o daughter is using SQ MB12 and started Valtrex 2 weeks ago. She is also

using Diflucan, a variety of supplements and is on the Specific Carbohydrate

Diet.

She is one of those kids with gross motor problems (very clumsy) and is

non-verbal. Since starting Valtrex I haven't seen anything remarkable (no

rashes, no improvement in word attempts). I HAVE seen an increase in stimming,

irritability and tantrums. BUT during her tantrums she is looking right into my

eyes.

Is this a good thing? I don't want to give up if good things are to come. How

long until you saw positive changes?
