More than likely, your email was spoofed. Your information was used, but

access to your personal computer was not necessary. The nature of the

Internet and the protocols that it operates under make it fairly easy to

spoof an email address. Most often they harvest your email address from

other compromised systems or from public listservs. This is then used to

send messages as if they came from you. They can also connect to your

email provider (ISP or otherwise) and use them to send the message,

thereby obscuring the real source of the message. This is so easy that

many scrip kiddies are doing it for fun and criminals are doing it to

make money.

The fact it was sent to the list, means they more than likely had access to his

contacts list at some point. Email hijacks are more common than most people

think especially users of outlook which can run scripts just like IE, excel,

word etc. All it takes is one dubios link diguised as something valid sent from

the hijacked email of someone you trust. Alot of times outlook hides the

extension of attachments so you receive a file named friend_file.jpg.exe but all

you would see is friend_file.jpg Alot of people thinking it comes from a

trusted source will click on it and it runs in the back ground with the user

never knowning. When the image fails to load you just chalk it up to an

internet quirk and don't realize you have just turned your computer into a

zombie for criminal spammers.

hi friendscan anybody post a list of suppliments/ companies without magnesium sterate .. my problem is not specifically with magnesium but with the source  cotton seed and the pesticides used in growing them... how long we can keep liquid  supplements/ powdered ones.?

Vitamin research products, ourasdkids.com, Klaire labs, Kartinzel health, brainchild nutritionals have many supplements without magnesium stearate. But they are much more expensive than the companies like now foods, jarrows, kirkmans etc.

I think, unlike in India, the USFDA regulate the level of pesticides or any toxins in supplements and insists they mark any toxins found on the label(Someone in US correct me if I'm wrong). I remember reading sometime back about presence of lead in organic rice!!. How on earth does metals get into something organic, was what I thought. But someone mentioned that it could be lead from the soil.. So I feel there is no escaping these things.. They are all around us. Unless we go completely organic(which I think options and choice are less in India, or in my place atleast), pesticides could be there in everything.

I keep all supplements refridgerated after opening. I remember when I had the kirkman chewables, after about 3 months the wafers started blackening while being kept outside, though it had a year of shelf life. Ever since I refrigerate all the supplements after opening.

Pallavi,

I also initially thought the same about Klaire products. But I recently inquired around and found that they can be purchased through Amazon , Pureformulas, hopewell pharmacy, rockwell nutrition websites without a prescription.

For Amazon and hopewell pharmacy the shipping prices are enormous. One of the dealer in amazon quoted me 100 USD for shipping 2 klaire multivits to India. hopewell is about 60 USD for 2 klaire multi vits. Pureformulas have good discounts on products, but they currently dont ship to India. So you have to get a relative or friend in the US who can forward the package to you. They are also planning to come out with international shipping soon, but have not given any time frame. If that happens, then its good, since they would also work out a good shipping price as well.

Currently out of all the websites that ship klaire to India, I found Rockwell nutrition to be the cheapest- http://www.rockwellnutrition.com/

Leucine is one of the 9 essential amino acids. So it will anyway be consumed through your regular protein intake itself. So IMO dont find an issue(unless the child has multiple protein allergies) with minute amount being added in supplements. Anyways the digestive enzymes can help with multiple protein digestion.

thanks a lot navinaso far my cousin in US getting me the supplements, but he is planning to relocate to UK  so time to chase another friend/cousin!!i will try the new website.. after getting most of my ASD books paying  huge amounts i stopped using amazon.

am worried about too much leucine.. haven't researched much on it..but my daughter seems very bad at digesting proteins.all these days i wasn't that keen on using enzymes other than phenol, viridian 3 strain , as my doc kept assuring me she doesn't have any allergies and tests are not throwing anything .. i believed.now when i started giving her B s could see her apraxia lifts up though, start seeing parasite red flag.. hows that possible if there is no problem? . thats when i learned from this group that there can be metals/ parasites/ deficiencies   not explicitly thrown in tests!! LOL my dreams are shattered and started thinking of supplementing,seriously.. she is CFGF,but try to avoid high oxalate, salicylate foods  but hvnt really done SCD or LOD as being a veggie i dont know how to stay away from rice n wheat both!!!

my serious concern is why the gains am seeing interms of speech is not long term... like NV , so far the only sustained improvement is through carnosine..just getting restless as i see her coming up with so many words and sinking back into apraxia..

thanks for your help.

I am totally relating to you Pallavi! believe me....

it is same for my son in that he will cycle from normal happy speaking boy...to a bipolar aggressive apraxic boy...I think it is just the layers of toxins...I been focusing on binders with no real improvement for last 24 hours then i decided to give double the LDM....he also took some alka selter gold.....and completely calmed down.....so as one layer of toxins is mopped up another is revealed under neath?

I think it would be helpful for all of us to make a circle picture with metals parasites viruses bacteria and yeast...then another circle for detox pathways..ie. liver kidneys gut..skin( i do niacin flush then hot salt bath).we must support the liver kidneys gallbladder gut to keep things moving out the toxins....

then the enviromental stress....ie...like is their any foods supps causing issues? and we must be keeping down systemic inflammation with lots of green veggies..antioxidants...antiinflammatorys...so the body doesnt keep fighting itself..

....stuff like that we need to be little spys...

like sherlock holmes...

channa

and if we are vigilant they must improve....
