Hello folks...Can someone provide an explanation for the following TAC,

please: TAC 157.11(i)(1)(J)Equipment to Meet Special Patient Needs. As

the Fire Dept & AHJ, we conduct annual EMS ambulance inspections for

units operating within our city. Unfortunately, due to the vagueness

on this item, we are not exactly sure of what to look for. Stair

Chair? Dolphin Tarp (forgive the non-PCness)? Huber Needles?

Pillows? etc....Ideas or thoughts? Thnx...Mark...

I believe this is dictated by your community and your medical direction.? It

could be those items you listed, or anything else your agency deems it needs to

care properly for its patients who have special needs.

Sorry, I didn't provide any more clarity to a cloudy statement.
