Hi

I do have a dual feed pm, which paces the ventricles as well as the

atria, I am really concerned that they may have to do the AV node

ablation. I really wanted to know if there are circumstances where that

would be the only option.

Hi

If you ablate the AV node you would needa dual feed pace maker. Your

heart

rate would drop to around 20 BPM and you would have to rely on a the

pacemaker to keep alive.
