Guest guest
I'm glad to hear you give your update even though I sincerely wish everything single thing in your life was cheery and rosy. That's great news about the Provigil being approved. What insurance do you have? Good for you for looking out for the squirrels!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. But received a very welcomed letter from the new health insurance plan. Seems they didn't have a single solitary problem with approving the Provigil for the fatigue and in fact, rather than it being a yearly "renewal" for approval.. I've been approved from 10/1/2010 through 9/1/2099 (no that wasn't a typo.. letter does in fact say two thousand ninety-nine!).. Being ever vigilant (maybe to the point of obsession) in trying to prevent another UTI Had a short reprieve from the headaches (ocular migraines?) but now their back in full force.. not severely painful, at least not what I would expect to feel with a "migraine" (but then I do have MS and the "lack of severe" pain might just be related to nerve damage somewhere).. but they are here every day.. nagging away.. Still trying to get into the holiday spirit.. without much success I might add.. but I am trying.. I keep finding the hooks from the ornaments on the floor under the tree, but no ornaments.. I suspect those will be found somewhere.. hidden by the Zook-ster.. he just loves the ornaments, he's always poking them with his nose.. I guess to hear them tingle? And he laid claim to one of them as his very own.. found it buried in the chair where he sleeps/lives.. We hit Wal-Mart yesterday, and as I rounded one of the corners, in front of me was some sort of "Star Wars" collectible/toy thing.. and that reminded me just how much Christmas just isn't Christmas any more.. Bud was a Stars Wars buff/collector/lover. BUT the good part of Christmas this year is that Earl will be with us for Christmas Eve dinner.. so I do have that much, and am thankful for it as well.. (And he doesn't understand his mommy worrying about him driving on snow covered roads to get to work, and just WHY I need him to call me when he gets to work on those mornings.) just looks at him and sez.. "Humor her".. cause "When Momma ain't happy Ain't NOBODY happy"... LOL Have not watched a single Christmas show.. and I know that is killing , cause he loves them all.. No, I'm wrong.. I did watch "The Santa Claus" with him when it was on last week.. And we do have a tree (in fact two trees) this year.. and the porch roof is lit with icicle lights.. So I'm getting there.. slowly and hopefully surely.. I'm ready for the snow to leave.. Then the squirrel wouldn't be doing home remodeling in the ceiling of my kitchen.. And I will NOT allow to fix the opening where the fascia or whatever it's called came off.. because if it was going to be fixed, it should have been fixed BEFORE the squirrel started putting his winter food stores up there.. So we'll have to deal with the additions and remodeling noises until spring arrives.. THEN he BETTER get up and get it closed off!.. and I'll hope that the squirrel doesn't do too much damage while he's up there.. I would have been perfectly happy to have the white stuff come down on the 24th.. and have a nice covering that night.. and maybe throughout the day on the 25th.. but it needs to be all gone by the 26th!.. And I guess that's just about it for me.. I know.. I'm a bit behind at this point.. but trying very hard to get caught up again! HUGS |)onna Perhaps it's time again for updates from everyone. Guest guest
It's not all, terribly horrible.. just frustrating as all get out.. I would so love to be back at work, and running up and down those stairs and all that kind of stuff.. I'm just taking longer than usual to get through my denial and anger stage of this grief process.. I DO have Earl here.. and that is definitely something to be very happy and grateful for.. He eats like a horse most of the time.. and loves to tell me how I forced him to eat such horrible things when he was a kid (yeah.. that's why all his jeans were in the "Husky" group, rather than the "slim").. Thank you so much for the well wishes.. and I'm sure just as soon as I can start getting out of the house more... SPRING... things will get better.. and I DO need to get me a supply of Vitamin D.. just wish that I could remember it when I'm at the store.. LOL And the insurance company that made my day... is Highmark Blue Cross / Blue Shield.. they may not be happy about having to pay the bill, but I'm also betting that they have people on their teams that do realize that it's less expensive to pay for the medication than it is to pay for something that might arise from me not having the medication.. And if they check records of any sort, they'll also know that I'm not one to fill the script just because it's available to be filled... I'm only taking what I absolutely have to take to get through the fatigue, and most of the time I'm lucky enough that 30 pills will last me for 6 months.. Thanks again for the well wishes... and I'm sure it will get better round here soon.. What I really want.. is a Christmas like you guys are having.. and "old fashioned Christmas" of sorts.. where thought is more important than price.. Cause something someone thinks about is sooooo much nicer than running an item through checkout and then wrapping it..
