Biting, pinching and scratching ... Desperate

Hi,My 4 yr son is on NIDS protocol with valtrex, nizorol, paxil and tenex.Last week, he was ocassionally pinching us. Now for the 3-4 days he has been constantlypinching, scratching and wanting to bite if we say "no" to him. He was a very happy kid. His teachers at school also said the same . 1. Not sure why he is doing it? Guys can u pls throw some light. Feeling very bad for him.Don't know what he is going threw.2.His nurse at school wanted we give the medications he is taking. Is it ok to give it to her?She wants it for her records and watch out for him. Will there be any issues if she sees antiviral and antifungals? I was think

IMHO, don't share the valtrex and nizoral as mainstream doesn't believe in any

of this and you don't want the nurse to call the social services to inform them

that you are giving your son unnecessary meds. Just tell them about the paxil

and tenex as you can always justify the use as developmental peds prescribe it.

Except for diet, I have never shared any other info with the school as they can

always blame the treatments making child worse and not their own inefficiencies.

oh my God! leslie mom!!!!!!!! yes and yes to what alexis just said!!!!!!! the school nurse knows about as much about your sons illness and how to help him then a two year old!

you give people unnessassary information about the unconventional biomed treatment and you are asking for socail services to come into your life and at best cause a lot of annoyance and at worst ruin your life and possibly take your kid away. where you get to never again have the oppurtunity to heal your child the way you as mother see fit.

DO NOT REPEAT to others about your childs biomed treatments! NEVER! many parents have almost lost their kid by opening there mouth! and some have lost their kids...simply for taking their childs health into their own hands.

Thanks for warning me about it. Appreciate it. She somehow saw an empty bottle in this back pack with the medication name and stuff and from then on shekeeps asking me abt it. I did not tell her about it.

yes if I was you I would try some damage control....tell her it was prescribed by docter but you are not giving it anymore (they didnt think it was helping ect....)

I only say this as I couldnt bear to see another parent go thru what I went thru..

In my house, when we were on NIDS, that was the SSRI... And it wasn't just one. It would happen with every single one. At first it happened so gradually that I couldn't tell what it was. He'd do well, for a bit and then it would fall apart. And with each switch that period got shorter and shorter until it was eventually obvious what was causing it.

What is NIDS? And my child does that(pinching, scratching, biting) and he's not

on any SSRI... What does it mean?

Amen, Channa!!!!! It is scary, but true. As you know I got in trouble just for taking my son to the ER for being mentally unstable. , good luck to you in getting the suppoet from the right people. Please be careful. Bettina

oh bettina, I dont know if you ever watch the tv series supernatural....it is my one treat once a week that i adore...anyways ...you remind me about something said on the show to a guy about to enter an ER after being attacked by demons...the lead character says: "Now remember...No talk about demons in the ER or they will lock you up.

for real it feels like sci fi. I got those d---- bills today. Insurance finally paid some of it. I so want to get a lawyer for obstruction of medical care. I'm just scared of having the tables turned on me again. It really unnerves me to pay for such incompetent care.

my heart goes out to you...I know your anger so well....but I wouldnt chance anything as long as your son needs you to recover him...I wanted to write a bunch of letters to diffrent media and the head office of socail services letting them know the criminal actions that were done against me..in hopes they would see the wrong that was done...

but i didnt do it. i wont do anything except lie really really low until my son gets healed. it sucks..we have to eat shit over and over again. I totally get that.
