I understand. I Dr. asked me if I wanted her to call in some other people to pry my son's mouth open so that she could look at his throat ( checking for strep. ) I said, " just give him 5 MINUTES, ok ? ." He said he'd let me do it instead of the Dr. Don't blame him. Still left the office pretty infuriated. Do you think they do that to other children ? My son is 13 ! He is a human, not an animal. Anyway, donot like a lot of Dr's. Ruined my day for sure.

Channa,Hey there! I hope it's a better day- I can totally relate sometimes.Heidi from LIA board has vast knowledge of the nutramedix products. She was the one who told me about Samento. Hopefully she will chime in.Sent from my iPhone

I have seen this alot, a person will think that they are the " boss " and

know more than parents. Stick to what you believe is right. No

professional has the right to force you to do anything unless your child

is an immediate danger to himself or others. The training professionals

get is always lacking, and there are many things they must choose for

themselves, in that there isn't teaching about everything. Did you know

that most of the people in the doc's offices have less than a year of

training, and sometimes just 6 weeks? So, don't let them intimidate

you. Even if it was a doc, remember that each doc uses different

methods. You get to choose since it's your child, what you feel is

best, you know your child best.

Love and prayers,

Heidi N

i hear you rebekah....it is the lack of humanity that stings so bad....we just got trust in god know that he loves us and our children even when others dont..and he gots our back even when others dont... dust ourselves off and move on..heads held high with the weight of the world on all our shoulders..
