Guest guest
SCIA has received approval for the Autism According To SCIA and the Request for laboratory referral documents. The documents have been added to the downloads page of the SCIA website . The Autism According To SCIA document explains what SCIA believes autism is, how to diagnose it and treat it. This document also raises a very important point which is that many children with autism suffer from Natural Killer Cell Defects that may be caused by cell-mediated immunity defects that have been documented by the Center For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a contraindication for vaccines containing live viral vaccines. Live viral vaccines include: MMR, MMRV, OPV, LAIV, yellow fever, varicella, zoster, rotavirus, and smallpox. The Request for laboratory referral document is for parents to bring to their children's physician when asking for a referral for the SCIA lab test panel. After physicians read the Autism According To SCIA document and agree or disagree to provide a referral for the lab tests they will sign this document, keep a copy in the child's chart and the parents will keep a copy. This way physicians will more likely give the referral for the SCIA lab tests. Please let us know if you have any questions.
