Guest guest
Hi everyone,I'm trying to figure out whether to go to the emergency tonight or if i should wait till tomorrow. Some of you know that i'm a paraplegic due to transverse myelitis secondary to ms. |i had regained some movement, but as of today, it;s all gone. Where i used to transfer on my own, |I can now barely do it with a transfer board and my bed mobility (ability to move around in bed) has gone way down. I'm resorting to hen pecking where i'm used to doing 65 wpm. The pains (spasms) is starting on my back and cathing is becoming next to impossible.I'd go now but i also have my two little girls with me. I I sit and wait out the night till i can arrange care for them? http://practical-homeschooling.orgwww.laurascoolstuff.com

Guest guest
IS there a neighbor or someone who can care for them? Suddenly losing so much strength/mobility doesn't sound good at all, it may be best to " get while the gettin's good " ? Guest guest
How old are the girls? Are old enough to go with and maybe sit and color while you are taken care of or until someone can come get them? I wouldn't wait too long. You are in my prayers. Guest guest
GO NOW! I understand you are worried about the girls but you need to worry about you tonight. This is nothing to mess around with. I am very alarmed for you tonight . Is there a neighbor who can watch the girls? If not GO anyway. The hospital will help you with the girls somehow. Please don't wait. big hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Good suggestions Kate. I hadn't thought of seeking help from her church. No matter what must go right away. This is serious, especially with the paraplegia and transverse myelitis. I sure home went! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for your words of support and encouragement. I did find someone to take my daughters...in fact, a friend was able to take them but she didn`t drive, so another person I know on Facebook (friend of a friend) volunteered to drive them over. The poor little things kept being passed from friend to friend till my father was able to come in from New Brunswick. So yep...still in the hospital. I lost full body control for a while...they thing it was a pseudo-exacerbation brought on by an infection. Things are coming back, but I have a ways to go rehab-wise before they`ll let me go home,,,this really sucks!
