Guest guest
I have seen a youtube video on it. We are considering for my son.For now, my son's language has improved with high dose B6 and magnesium. The improvements are seen with:100 mg R5P (Twinlabs B2/Riboflavin) 200 mg Magnesium Citrate250 mg Solgar B6 capsules All are available at Vitamin Shoppe. This therapy costs ~ 30$/month maybe? It's our first month and me and my daughter are also taking these doses, so the cost could likely be less than this. B2 and Magnesium support the B6. Guest guest
Oh we are also giving 50mg Vitamin Shoppe brand P5P (bio-available B6)but it seems the need for P5P is relatively rare. But you could consider that toadd to the " cocktail " as well. If you'd like to try what we are doing ;-) I have seen a youtube video on it. Guest guest
We initially saw a nice, calming effect but it did not last more than 3 weeks. No improvement in language. We eventually dropped it. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply, I used p5p (200 mg) and magnesium (200 mg) for my daughter, as she has cryptopyrrol...but with no results concerning her language I may consider adding B2 as well or trying your cocktail:) > > > ** > > > > > > Hi everyone, > > > > My daughter (ASD, 9 Y) is a patient of Dr. Megson > > She prescribed Namenda to her to improve language > > > > Any feedback about this drug (negative or positive results) is really > > appreciated > > > > Thanks > > > > > > > > > > -- > Toni > > ------ > Mind like a steel trap... > Rusty and illegal in 37 states. >
Guest guest
We also use L-Carnosine, which made my son more talkative as well. But it was on the level of just blah blah blah without really making any sense. In other words, talking just to make sound not to communicate. The B6 has him making organized efforts to communicate stuff. We add molybdenum and zinc to the capsule because it's supposed to help balance the copper issue (something abt carnosine and copper)Vitamin E is supposed to help but we haven't added that back in yet.
