Guest guest
If I may ask a personal question. Can anyone tell me about their personal experiences with applying for social security disability? I have contacted our local congressman and they have had it flagged that they are watching it. I am in the process of obtaining all medical records. was a long haul truck driver and now with insulin he cannot, by federal law, drive a truck anymore. He has had the same type of job for 22 years. He now has the MS and the cervical spinal stenosis. Even on just the insulin dependent issue since it’s not allowed by federal law should be a huge help. Guest guest
nne,            Thank you. We could use all the thoughts and prayers people can spare. being put on insulin for his diabetes puts him federally out of being able to drive a truck. He has been a truck driver for 22 years. Never out of work. The congressman’s office told me that SS doesn’t necessarily decide if you are disabled. But they determine if you are able to do the job you were doing. So, based on that, and the federal law, he would be eligible on that dx alone. http://countermanfamilynews.blogspot.com/    From: MSersLife [mailto:MSersLife ] On Behalf Of nne Svihlik Sent: Monday, July 12, 2010 5:42 PM To: mserslife Subject: RE: Social Security disability Thanks . Guest guest
My advice is to get all your medical records. ALL. Never leave it up to Social Security to get your records or trust doctors to send all your records. When you send the application send copies of all the records with the application. I will look for more information for you. SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
