I know you're probably overwhelmed by everything but a thought came to me in the middle of the night of course. I don't know where you are or where is having his neck surgery. But I'm wondering if he could have his veins checked for CCSVI at the same time?

I knew I'd confuse you and apologize for that. CCSVI =Chronic Cerebral Spinal Venous Insufficiency that's been in the ms news/research world for a year or so. Basically blood from the brain has trouble getting back to the heart and the pooled blood from the refluxes are our brain and spinal lesions.

The treatment which is only available in a few places involves placing stents or balloon angioplasty in the stenoses (the veins in the neck that are narrowed)

There are great groups and much info on the web and Facebook. Also many amazing testimonials. Just google "CCSVI" and you'll find tons of info.
