we ever got the food stamps or the med help...we was told to get that i have to have a baby...omg will that is not going to happen...and medicare part B would run us 200.00 a moth and it would not cover every thing....we get part A but that is it...i wish you all the best....and peace >>.debbi brant

Thank you. We could use all the thoughts and prayers people can spare. being put on insulin for his diabetes puts him federally out of being able to drive a truck. He has been a truck driver for 22 years. Never out of work. The congressman’s office told me that SS doesn’t necessarily decide if you are disabled. But they determine if you are able to do the job you were doing. So, based on that, and the federal law, he would be eligible on that dx alone.

Social Security disability

If I may ask a personal question. Can anyone tell me about their personal experiences with applying for social security disability? I have contacted our local congressman and they have had it flagged that they are watching it. I am in the process of obtaining all medical records. was a long haul truck driver and now with insulin he cannot, by federal law, drive a truck anymore. He has had the same type of job for 22 years. He now has the MS and the cervical spinal stenosis. Even on just the insulin dependent issue since it’s not allowed by federal law should be a huge help. Thoughts?

income limits are ridiculous.  They are way too low.  They need to be raised.
