JOB TITLE: EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - PARAMEDIC

DEPARTMENT: EMS

JOB SUMMARY: Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers.

Administers care to patients in emergency situations per protocol.

Relays pertinent information the dispatcher concerning patient

condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance

service. Maintains vehicles and equipment in optimum working

condition, and any other duties assigned by the Shift Commander or

Director.

Licensure, Registry or Certification: State of Texas EMT-P,

ACLS,ITLS or PHTLS,PEPP or PALS.
