Guest guest
Some of us have to fake our ways through this time of the year to keep others happy. Don't belittle those that don't want to say 'merry Christmas' or appear to be happy they may not have had a good childhood or may have bad memories of hurtful experiences that are too hard to remember. Just over look the feelings and forgive the person and remember everyone has feelings and are allowed to have their own feelings. I for an example HATE Christmas and I don't take the word HATE lightly but I do with this one cause I never had a family since I was 13yrs old. Yes I have had Christmas with people trying to show me the love since I have come to town and since the kids have been gone but it seems like they are doing it just cause they feel sorry for us cause we don't have our family and now our children would be 15 and 14; we haven't seen them since they were 5 and 3. It is hard and we do think of them daily but know it is the best for them as with our illness we are unable to raise special needs children. I know with Christmas going by my wish would be to see them but that is impossible so I just hope that one day it will come true but the way things are not the way things are NOT YET! If we were to have a content Christmas and without tears I would just be happy and if you know me then you would know I DON'T CRY but it is one day I do and I really HATE IT and feel badly when I bring others down and I make my husband wonder what is up as we have been married since 1991 and may have been split for 5yrs but the Lord has allowed us to get back together. Instead of saying Merry Christmas my responds I want to say is 'bite me' and that is from my heart not my head! K
