thank you, and rem it is not what you get, but what you have,,i know you are having a hard time , i do not post a lot, but i read.what i can see, rob can not take away what this day is for you ..as a jew married to a non jew , i try to think what it is about..my dear it is not the tree, the lights, the gifts, or the dinner..it is about the love we show to each other..i do not know a lot about how every one does diff things this time of the yr, but this i know..if you love in your heart, and know what the day is..then NO ONE can take it from you , or your son..we all have things going on and at this time of the yr i think it worse, it is like every thing is happening right now..but it is not, it is over time, we just want this time of the yr to be the best we can make it, so do just that, and if it is eggs in fount of the tv with your son, i

Rita is coming to get Robbin, at about 4, to go to Elaine's and do the gifts and food thing. Rita is making prime rib and will bring me some (YUM). So I won't cook, just make the pumpkin pie I already have in the freezer. The turkey can wait a day or two, wasn't totally thawed anyway, so that's fine.

I didn't have any gifts to open, but that's ok, Christmas is for kids.

I did sorta get something, though, I was looking in my jewelry box last night for something to give Rita (from Robbin) and I looked at a gold-tone bracelet. Noticed something on the clasp, so I got out my loupe and looked...the thing isn't gold-tone, it is 14 k made in Italy! Brought it in and weighed it, 22.7 g. Nice. So I guess I did get something, though I already had it (it came from my sister's things, is why I hadn't really looked at it)

Found a nice necklace for Rita, too. (Rita is Rob's sister) and a nice bracelet for Rob's mom (NOT the gold one, I don't like her THAT much lol...)

I'd be invited but Rob will be there, so I will stay put and have a beer (or two) and watch gushy Christmas stuff on TV...or play WoW and kill cyber monsters...

Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!!!!
