mess things up.

Here it is brightly sunny and moderately warm (mid 40's), we're too far South for the storm. But yes, how is everyone in it's path? Kate? nne?

We had over a foot of snow, Sharon, and many folks were unable to get to work today. One of them being my neurologist. I had run out of my neurontin(gabapentin). I called the pharmacy for a refill, but they said I had run out of refills; when they tried to call for one, they were rejected. Turns out that the original rx was through a 2nd neuro, whom I have since left. SO...they had to track down an on-call doc to fill the script so I won't be without tonight...Anyway, back to the snow...yup, it was truly a blizzard, with winds up to mph as it was snowing last night. My brother, Larry, was born 63 years ago in the blizzard of '47; dumped 26" on the eastcoast! That also happened on Dec. 26.My kids are building a snowfort in the back, and Lloyd and I are going to go out and walk the dog. Hopefully

there won't be any ice patches for me to fall on! I have fallen 4 times in the last 2 weeks, and that was on DRY ground. lol.Love to you Sharon, and all in this wonderful group,as always, KateTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Mon, December 27, 2010 10:03:10 AMSubject: how's your weather?

Stay off the ice!!!! Falling on the ice is so quick and can be so serious. I fell a couple of times when we lived in Alaska and it really hurt me. A foot is a good snowfall. It was foggy here the past few mornings and evenings. I love the fog but then I don't have to drive in it:) SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I'd second that advice, Kate: Stay off the ice! ;-)I slipped on a patch of ice when I was pulling my nieces in a pulk ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulk ) on Dec 24 (when Christmas is celebrated in Sweden). I hurt my arm and wrist a little, it's a bit swollen and sore. Nothing some anti-inflammatory meds can't cure I'd think (and luckily I have a quite powerful kind on prescription for my knees). But still, NOT falling and hurting oneself on ice always makes things easier...Good luck with walking the dog!love/Reb>> Stay off the ice!!!! Falling on the ice is so quick and can be so serious. We can have from a dusting to 8 inches or so. A foot or more puts us into a tizzy up here in NY, at least MY part of NY. This is nothing for say, Rochester or Buffalo! They did call a state of emergency for my area Sunday and Monday.Even without the ice--I've fallen a total of 4 times now in two weeks. The kids are bummed. If this snow had come next week, they would have called off school. This way, with the break, they were already off. lol. Poor little kids!love ya all,KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Mon, December 27, 2010 10:05:37 PMSubject: Re: how's your weather?
